Apple iPhone 15: $799 $99 with an eligible trade-in and unlimited plan
The standard iPhone 15 is a great choice for most users, particularly if you want the latest features but don’t want to completely break the bank. Internally, this one is a relatively iterative upgrade versus the previous generation but all models in the 15 series have had a significant facelift with the introduction of the new ‘Dynamic Island’ display. As always, the latest iPhone features a fantastic chipset, industry-leading camera setup, and a long life potential thanks to Apple’s great software roadmap. Check out our full iPhone 15 review for a breakdown of this particular device.

Apple iPhone SE (2022): $2/mo with an unlimited data plan
If you’re looking for an Apple device on a budget, look no further than the excellent iPhone SE. Sure, it’s outwardly a little dated but AT&T’s current promotion allows you to get it for just $2 per month alongside an unlimited plan with no trade-ins needed. Despite the fact it’s not a looker we gave the device four and half stars out of five during our Apple iPhone SE (2022) review, praising it’s powerful chipset.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max: save up to $1,000 with an eligible trade-in and unlimited data plan
For Apple fans who only want the best, consider the iPhone 15 Pro Max – the current premium flagship from Apple. As with the previous iteration, the lions share of upgrades for 2023 can be found on this device, with a new chipset focused on AI integration and gaming, a subtle yet stunning redesign, and new 5x optical zoom on the back camera. Overall, this is a very, very pricey device but it’s always worth checking out AT&T’s trade-in options as the carrier often offers up to $1,000 off with an eligible trade. Head on over to our iPhone 15 Pro Max review to see a full rundown of this flagship.

Samsung Galaxy S24: free with an eligible trade-in and unlimited plan
If you’re looking for a decent all-arounder, the standard Galaxy S24 is a great option right now. For a reasonable price you get the same powerful chipset as in the S24 Ultra (the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2), a gorgeous 120Hz AMOLED display, and several new AI features that bring it into line with the latest Pixel devices. Depending on your eligibility, it’s usually possible to get this particular device for free alongside a new unlimited data plan at AT&T if you have a relatively decent device ready to trade in. Check out our Samsung Galaxy S24 review for a detailed look at this flagship.

Google Pixel 7a: $19.45 $5/mo with an unlimited plan
Google’s ‘A’ series smartphones have always offered a solid mid-range choice for those who want decent specs on a budget. The Pixel 7a is the latest in the range and quite possibly the best iteration yet thanks to its upgraded camera, 90Hz display, and Tensor 2 chipset. There’s not much missing from the standard Pixel 7 here, beside a slightly smaller display so it’s an all-around great option for those on a budget, especially since AT&T has been offering this one for just $5 per month without the need for a trade. See our Google Pixel 7a review for a full run-down of this budget option.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: save $1,000 at AT&T with an eligible trade-in and unlimited plan
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is our favorite in the latest range from Samsung – but it’s also the priciest by far. Nonetheless, if you’re flush with cash and only want the best, this is an incredible flagship device packed with the latest tech. Inside, you get a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, improved battery life, and some of the best cameras you’ll find anywhere on a mobile device right now. Generally speaking. AT&T’s trade-in rebates consistently offer up to $1,000 off with an eligible rebate, so you can usually cut that hefty price tag right down to size. See our Galaxy S24 Ultra review for a full rundown of this device.
